Meet Bean and Spike Bonded Pair

.Meet bonded cuddle bug best friends, Bean and Spike. Bean is s a pretty petite female tiger, who came to us in January of 2015, at only 4 months old. Same time when Spike came to us, a Tiger male, at the same age of 4 months old, when he arrived in January of 2015 She came in with Spike, who is hilarious as he’s a little food thief for the cats in our kennels. He’ll walk around and stick his paw in the kennel cages to grab some food scraps. Neither one of them are aggressive at all, they are a little skidish and both will accept some patting., once they trust us. We had some leadership changes at the shelter and many cats that were thought to be “unadoptable” prior, we are saying- no- they deserve a chance and a voice. So these 2 are now having their story told and hopes someone will want them! . Bean and Spike are bonded, as you can see. They are two cuddle bugs and are either next to each other. or half on top of each other, as you can see! The LOVE each other. Like Spike, Bean is a little skidish, but once she trusts you, she enjoys being patted. They have free roam space in the kennel area, and she also enjoys hanging out loose and visiting the other cats. Bean and Spike. gets along with everyone, and Bean is a pretty mellow cat. Because of their deep connection to each other, we’d only adopt out to a home where they can go together. Won’t you be their hero and come meet this gorgeous pair , and give them they chance they so deserve!! For more information, you can call the shelter at 401-294-1115. You can also go to our web site and fill out an online application at thepetrefuge.org. Filling out an adoption application is always the first step. Currently, visits to the shelter are by appointment only for approved applications, so please fill out an online application, on our website- thepetrefuge.org, then email it into us at Sheltermanager@thepetrefuge.org. Or, if you prefer, you can print it out on paper, fill it out, and drop it off. The manager will be in touch with you about an appointment for a visit, once your application has been approved.
