Meet Aslan
Aslan came to Paws Animal Shelter with his four siblings and their mom, Lorelei. Lorelei was a stray in Urbana, and someone started feeding her. They eventually had her spayed, and later realized she had been nursing kittens. She was taken back to the house she was at, and her five kittens were found in a wood pile. They were all brought inside, but the kittens had been in the wood pile for several weeks with no human contact. The good Samaritan who had been feeding their mom worked with them to socialize them, and he definitely made progress. When we had room they all came to Paws Animal Shelter. Our very capable crew of volunteers continued to work on them, and today they're as friendly as could be. They all love to chase the fishing pole toys wrestle with their roommates! Aslan is the only one in the litter who is still looking for his forever family. Stop by and meet this adorable young cat!
