Meet ARCHIE
DESCRIPTION: DSH Brown Classic Tabby, markings resemble a Bengal but he is not a purebred Bengal
LOCATION: Foster
MY STORY:
Archie and his sister, LuLu, came from a farm that had way too many unaltered cats and kittens. They were very sickly when they arrived in our care.
Their foster mom worked very hard to get them to eat and to clear up tummy issues and upper respiratory infections. Slowly they began to gain weight and start to act like kittens.
As young as he is, Archie started having problems with his mouth. He was diagnosed with Stomatitis and had most of his teeth removed. Surprisingly, after that, he became much more friendly. Perhaps the teeth were painful and he just didn’t want to be touched. He is doing great now.
Archie likes to hang with his sister, who is still much more outgoing than he is. He would do best being adopted with his sister or at least another kitten companion due to his shyness.
He is getting better at letting his foster mom pet and hold him. He used to run and hide…agin we think it was the teeth. However, his purrsonailty is really like some of the Bengals out there (LOL) but he is NOT a Bengal. He just as stunning markings for a farm kid.
He likes to hang out on the fake fur blanket in his foster mom’s bed. He likes to watch tv with his foster mom. He eats normal dry food and has no issues with that.
We think Archie will be a very handsome and big boy when he is fully grown. He’s a very neat and clean kitty. He likes to groom himself and his sister.
If you are looking for a stunning cat that is pretty easy and not so demanding in affection and attention, Archie is purrfect for your family.
