Meet Annie! Her foster mom says that she is one of the most special girls they have ever had the pleasure of fostering. She was an 8 month old, pregnant kitten when she came to her foster home. The babies didn’t survive, but that didn’t keep Annie from wanting to be a mother! She has adopted the six foster kittens that share her foster home, as her own. She gathers them all up during playtime to bathe them and comfort them. Despite not being the kittens’ mother, she is never far away and will come running if she hears one crying.

This girl loves cuddling her foster mom while she works and will stand between her and the computer, making her foster mom wrap her arms around her while she types. She’s well mannered and knows what no means and will stop whatever she is doing and immediately look at her foster mom for direction as to what we want her to do. She loves climbing and will climb to the highest points in the house that other cats don’t bother with. If your shelves are full of breakables, she may not be the best match for your family as she tends to knock things down as she’s walking along the shelves to get a better view. She is very playful and will use anything she can find as entertainment. She loves feather wands and does some of the most impressive jumps to catch the feathers. She is one of the sweetest little torties you will ever meet with a dash of mischievousness. She definitely has “tortitude” but you can’t help but find her delightful.

Annie MUST go to a home with another cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty from us with Annie for ½ the adoption fee!) She needs an indoor home with plenty of space to run and play. She needs a family who will give her lots of love and attention. Annie does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. She does well with respectful children and she is litter box trained.
