Well hello there, looking for a handsome tuxedo boy with a social personality….that’s me!! Hi, my name is Alvin. I’m about 2 years old and I’m quite the boy!! I love attention, once I get to know you… and I’ll admit, I may get a little jealous if I see my people here at the shelter giving attention to other cats…. I mean, I want it all!! So, yes. I have been know to maybe do a little hiss here or there, but come on- I just got here in March and allot has happened and I really just want to be comforted and loved- kinda scared another person is going to leave me….. because, I had a home and now I don’t, because sadly we went homeless. So if you know my story, you can understand how things are all upside down for me now. I can be so sweet and friendly, in fact I walk right up to allot of the staff and volunteers here, that I now feel safe with, and that I know won’t hurt me. I would like a quiet patient home to let me blossom and thrive and trust on my time- can’t you do that for me? I sure would love to have a loving forever home, meaning really forever this time, of my very own!! I want to be a loving good boy.

Currently, visits to the shelter are by appointment only for approved applications, so please fill out an online application, then email it into us at Sheltermanager@thepetrefuge.org. Or, if you prefer, you can print it out on paper, fill it out, and drop it off. The manager will be in touch with you about an appointment for a visit, once your application has been approved.
