Meet Akeria
Akeria is about 7 years old. She lost her home because of her habit of not using her litter box consistently, and doing her stools on the floor. The vets would not euthanize a healthy young cat for this reason alone, and they asked us to take her. We welcomed Akeria to the shelter and she has spent the past month settling in.
Akeria is not a fan of the other cats in her room and tends to keep to herself in a cubby. We feel she would do best as a single cat. She has not lived with children previously and due to her sometimes reactive nature, she would likely be more suited to an adult only calm home.
