Sunshine Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo Parrot Cockatoo Battle Creek , MI

Sunshine is a Lesser Sulphur Crested Amazon. She’s pretty small, which leads us to believe she’s an actual Lesser Sulphur Crested (which we don’t see very often anymore). Visually, she’s a female with amber colored eyes. She’s very interested in what is going on, and loves to be talked to. She is currently not particularly handleable, although to be fair, none of us are trying to bond with her, so we’re not pushing the envelope with her. For the right person, I think she could be a great little companion to while the days away.

The right person will understand good touch/bad touch for cockatoos, will understand cavity seeking behaviors and will understand that letting cockatoos roam floors is one of the most dangerous things for their health and behavior you can do.

Sunshine has a little cataract or injury to her right eye - but is fully sighted in her left.
