Meet Rosie and Bilbo
Rosie is a Scarlett macaw and Bilbo is a blue and gold macaw.
They are a bonded pair and will not be separated.
They are approximately 20 years old.
Bilbo is super sweet and Rosie is brave and protective.
They love toys and treats.
This pair of birds spent their whole lives together until they're human passed away. They are pretty great birds considering, have pretty docile personalities, and for the right owners will be the companions of a lifetime.
Bilbo likes our Founder, while Rosie prefers the menfolk. They can be housed next to each other, although at the rescue, they prefer to be together in the same cage. As a rule though, you’ll have better luck with them if you let them sleep in separate cages and then play together during the day.
