Meet Peach
Princess Peach is a female cockatiel, about 4 1/2 years old. She is a quiet loving bird. She loves neck rubs and will put her head down for you when she wants a little pet. She’s ok with kids but doesn’t like to be around too much noise. She doesn’t make much noise unless someone else is making a lot of noise. She makes a little peep here and there and likes to be acknowledged when she does so.
Peach can fly but is not great at maneuvering around things. She may get better once she’s in her forever home and gets used to the surroundings. She is very quick to warm up to you and will gladly take treats from your hand. She only likes to be handled if she flies out of her cage on her own. I believe that can change as she forms strong bonds with her forever person. But she will allow you to pick her up when she’s out of her cage and enjoys sitting on your shoulder while you walk around. She likes her cage covered at night. She also doesn’t seem to be bothered by my cat or small dog.
Peach comes with a cage and is offered as is (no vet check). Adoption fee $75 (includes membership). Must be within driving distance of Salt Lake City.
