Hailey & Clifford (married couple) Dove Pigeon Chicago, IL

Fluffy, funny little Hailey is an absolutely adorable sassy little lady with a mind of her own and a brave spirit! Hailey was rescued with a fractured right wing, and while it’s fully healed, her right wing will always hang a little lower than other and she has minimal flight abilities. However, this doesn’t interfere with her confidence one bit! She enjoys conversationally sharing her opinion, and when she developed a crush on rescued boy pigeon Clifford, she spoke right up and asked him out! Sure enough, Clifford was immediately won over by this confident lady. When he was first rescued, our volunteers were calling Clifford “Big Baby,” because he was one of the biggest baby pigeons we had ever seen! As the volunteers lovingly raised him he gradually grew into the big magnificent young pigeon he is today, and gained the name Clifford because his gentle nature and perpetually puppy-sized big feet reminded his foster mom of the giant red cartoon dog! Clifford really does look like a feathered puppy as he ambles around the house with a slightly and adorably awkward walk due to an old foot injury from before he was rescued - likely from falling from the nest. This gentle giant loves to snuggle with plush toys, and can easily be mistaken for being a plushie himself when he’s in the middle of his toy pile! Clifford and Hailey are ready to waltz their way into a loving forever home, where they promise to keep everyone smiling and laughing!
