Meet Donald and Daisy a pair of Cockatiels
Donald and Daisy are a pair of cockatiels that came out of the big breeder situation. She’s a tad plucked from over preening - but they’re both happy little goofy birds who are interested in what you’re doing. They’d be great for learning target training. We have no idea how old they are. The right family will be willing to sign a no breed contract and will educate yourselves on what to do in the event eggs are laid, and some basic ideas on how to prevent breed behavior in pairs.
If you’re interested in adopting Donald and Daisy put your application in at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out.
No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all. Stay safe!
