Meet Cosmo and Luna
Hello everyone! We are a bonded pair of Cockatiels! My name is Cosmo, and my beautiful partner next to me is Luna. We are in the care of Florida Parrot Rescue while we wait to be adopted into our new forever home.
I am very bonded to my lady, Luna. I love her very much and I get upset if she is taken into a separate room away from me. I can be a shy little guy and I do take some time to warm up and get used to people. I will bite a little bit, but then I usually give in and get on your finger if you persist. But I really love head scratches! I also like to sing and will sing when I look at myself in the mirror.
My girl, Luna, is very sweet. She doesn’t always love to be held but when she is, she’s a very sweet girl. She likes to sit on top of our cage, and she enjoys sitting on her perch and on the back of the couch. Luna also likes her head to be scratched.
We love to be together because we are sweethearts! We both love to preen each other and sit on the top of our cage all day long next to each other. You will also find us sleeping on our seagrass mats that are hanging from the top of the cage. We also like to chew on the seagrass mats and other chewable toys!
We are both very healthy and we eat Harrison’s pellets. We occasionally like some fresh fruit and veggies. And we love millet as a treat!
