I am currently in foster care and NOT on site at Sumter County Animal Services, if you would like to schedule a time to meet me, please contact Animal Services. I am a very sweet and sometimes shy lady, I can be a little nervous around new people. I do warm up with gentle patience and I love a good belly scratch. My favorite hobbies include sunbathing, getting muddy, and napping under trees. Adopt me today!

Visit us and view our adoptable animals today! If you find an animal that you are interested in, all adoptable animals are available on a first come, first served basis once adoption is approved. Applications are not required prior to viewing our animals but must be completed prior to moving forward with an adoption.

All of our adoption fees are currently waived!

Cats and Dogs adopted out are vaccinated for rabies and other common diseases, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter. Dogs are tested for heartworm disease and cats for feline leukemia and FIV. All Sumter County residents will receive a free County tag for their new dog or cat!
