We now have cats at three public locations: PETCO in Kirkwood, PETCO in Creve Coeur, and PETCO in Affton. We have adoption events every Saturday and Sunday in Kirkwood, every Saturday at Affton, and special events at Creve Couer. We will keep you posted in "events." Further, we have MANY cats in foster homes who do not live at the PETCO stores, so keep looking at Petfinder to meet your new friend!
Who We Are
Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc. was founded in 2006. We are an all volunteer, non-profit, cat rescue, rehab and adoption organization operating in the St Louis metro area.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fee is $150 for kittens up to 1 year old, and $125 for cats over 1 year. There are some exceptions to this adoption fee schedule: some purebred cats have an adoption fee of $200, and seniors are $95. All of out cats are vet-checked for health, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed and up-to-date on vaccinations. All of our cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV before being offered for adoption. Many of our cats are at the Petco in Kirkwood MO (and PETCO Affton and PETCO Creve Coeur) full time - where the staff gives them plenty of love and attention. Our younger kittens are only at adoption events on the weekends but can be seen during the week by appointment.

Because our cats are all in foster homes, we make every effort to meet adoptors at times and places convenient to all. We ask potential adoptors to first complete an application for adoption for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with the cat. After the application is reviewed and OK'd, we require adoptors to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender or sexual orientation; but we reserve the right to refuse an adoption based on the information we interpret from these forms regarding the cat's needs or requirements. Our goal is to make every adoption a happy and lasting one!
