We are open on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. You can visit our pets by appointment Monday~Friday.
We have a wonderful Resale Shop located in Crandon, WI. Our volunteers who run this little shop do a fantastic job. It is always full of treasures! The hours of the shop are: Thurs.-Sat. from 10 am to 4 pm. All sales benefit the animals. If you have items to donate they can be droped off at the Resale Shop or the Humane Society. We are in need of knick nack items right now! If you have things that you are tired of looking at donate them to our resale shop!

Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization in Forest County WI that cares for homeless animals until we can place them in their new "Forever Homes. " We are not funded by the county, state or federal governments.
Could you please give the gift of comfort to one of our dogs?!! Kuranda Dog Beds will let you purchase one of their beds and they will send it to us. Right now we are using blankets for beds. This is not as comfortable and economical as a Kuranda Dog Bed. Our dogs have all been on a long journey to get to us, please find it in your heart to give them a comfortable bed to lay on as they wait for their new homes. If you can’t adopt or foster an animal at the Humane Society, but would like to help, you could sponsor an animal. Sponsoring an animal consists of paying it’s spay/neutering cost. We run our facility on donations and our vet bills are a very big expense. By sponsoring a spay/ neuter for an animal, you are helping that animal, preventing the over population of dogs and cats, plus you are making a difference for the Humane Society. The cost of sponsoring a cat is $50 and a dog $75. You will receive a picture of the animal that you sponsored, a certificate with your name on it will be on its kennel and we will let you know when the animal has been adopted. Checks can be mailed to: Forest County Humane Society PO Box 57 Crandon WI 54520. Please make s sure you let us know that this donation is for a sponsorship of a spay/neuter.
