Several of our dogs have been sleeping on Kuranda Dog Beds...they LOVE them ...we do too...because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. Kuranda is making them available (SUBSTANTIALLY DISCOUNTED) thru the Petfinder org. Take a look and if you would like to donate a bed to us, click here.

FEES
NEW LAW PASSED IN WV!!! Beginning April 2005....
All dogs from Animal Shelters in WV MUST be altered prior to adoption!
We do get discounted prices from vets in the area...so the cost to
adopters and rescuers will be kept to a minimum for this service:
Dogs are $20 PLUS VET FEE FOR SPAY/NEUTER
Cats are $10 PLUS VET FEE FOR SPAY/NEUTER
WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS... PAYMENT MUST BE IN CASH OR MONEY ORDERS ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS!
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TRANSPORT THE ANIMAL YOU WISH TO ADOPT.
PLEASE NOTE....We will NOT fly animals!!!
HEALTH
All of our cats are treated for parasites when they come in.
Dogs are treated for parasites & immunized w/ the standard 5-way shots.
By law, rabies vaccinations cannot be given except by a veterinarian.
If we take an animal to the vet for treatment, it can receive rabies vaccines.
Please check which treatments your pet has received & give that info to your own vet.
Please consider the cost of good veterinary & preventive care for an animal before adopting it.
REMEMBER...Moving to a new home is STRESSFUL for anyone.
It takes time to make adjustments, learn new routines, work out relationships.
BE PATIENT! Give your pets a fair chance to learn, grow & adapt. You'll be rewarded with their love & trust.

Using the 4-H Camp or Fairgrounds driveway,
