About Us

News

For the Love of Dogs would like to wish a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our friends, adopters and supporters. It has been a great year for the rescue and hope that 2012 will be an even better year. We've had lots of adoptions but still have  many more that need forever homes.

We have received many calls from people who want to surrender pit bulls to our rescue. We are not a pit bull rescue although we have a few listed. Please go to www.rescueshelter.com to search for specific breed rescues. We are an all-breed rescue and have all sizes and ages. Due to so many people losing their homes, many pets have been left behind and are being surrendered to rescue. Our kennels are full and overflowing. Please consider fostering a dog even if you can't adopt. Please spay or neuter your pets.

Adopting A Friend

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please send an e-mail to fortheloveofdogs@epbfi.com for an application. The adoption fee for all dogs is $150 if adopted locally. Out of area adoptions are $200 plus a transport fee . The fee includes spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heartworm check, deworming, and flea/tick preventative.
