Testimonials

Who We Are

This site supports a small group of people who try to help as many puppies and dogs that have been displaced through no fault of their own. All of the dogs are checked by a vet, altered and updated on all vaccinations prior to going to a home.

We are all volunteers who do the best that we can with the limited funds and resources available to us. We give the potential adopter as much information as we can, including copies of all vet records but we normally do not know the history of the dogs, as they are strays at the pound. Very rarely do we have owner releases. All dogs in our program were minutes away from being put to sleep so the pound could make space for more strays.

How can you help?

There are 5 things you can do and everyone can do at least one!
  1. WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF FOSTER HOMES! Fostering is a great way to have a dog without out all the added expense. Not to mention you are actually helping to save a life!
  2. Buy a dog tag to protect your pet and a percentage of your sale will support Multiple Breed Rescue's efforts!! Shop today at Waggle Tags.

  3. Donate items such as blankets, towels, food, collars, leashes, toys, dog beds, sheets, treats, etc.
  4. The most important thing you can do and EVERYONE should do: EDUCATE people on the option of adoption!

Adopting a friend

The adoption fee for all dogs listed depends on the breed, age, vet care, cost to pull from the kill shelter, worming medicine, flea medicine, etc. The adoption fee BARELY covers all of the previous mentioned expenses. Please do not ask for us to lower the fee.

Due to recent events we have found it difficult to introduce a dog into a home with children under the age of 4 years old. We are no longer adopting to homes with children 4 years or younger. The ONLY exception that will be made is that the child has in the last 6 months lived with a dog or is currently living with a dog.

You must be a minimum of 21 years old to adopt.

All adopters must fill out an application. Please see listed below an application. You may copy this application, paste into an email, fill it out completely, and send it here to be processed. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE

Come visit us!

The dogs listed on this site are located at various foster homes throughout Ohio. We do not have a shelter therefore anyone wishing to visit one of our dogs must first complete an application and be an approved adopter for that dog.

Please make a note that the majority of the dogs are being kept in Elyria Ohio. We do not transport our dogs, you would need to come to Elyria to meet and possibly adopt.
