WarmFuzzy's
March 2008
In order for us to continue taking care of those unwanted warmfuzzy's we need your help. The Shelter is in dire need of major repairs. The pipes broke during the previous winter. We need piping and fittings. We have the lumber and plywood to replace walls that have been ruined by water leaks, we needs "hands" to get it done. Windows, back door and front door need replacing. We need electrical wiring put in place to support air conditioning. During the summer months it can get to better than 110 degree's inside. Donations of "materials" are also gratefully accepted.
We have the where-with-all to take in many more cats and dogs but not
without your help. Please stop right now and make a tax deductible
donation to WarmFuzzy's and save an innocent animals life whose only wrong was to be born because a "human" didn't spay or neuter her mommy and daddy.
Help right that wrong by sending your donation now.

WHO WE ARE
WarmFuzzy’s is a non-profit 501(c)3 all volunteer organization dedicated to the care and control of the feral cat population as well as animal rescue. We have 60 acres of land at our disposal with a 14x70 mobile home being converted to a shelter. We have taken in quite a few feral cats from other areas so they would have a safe place to live out the rest of their lives.
We have adopted the TTVAR-M method (Trap, Test, Vaccinate, Alter, Release and Maintain) now called TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) of feral cat control. This is the only proven and humane method of feral cat control.
Every cat is trapped, taken to one of our participating veterinarians to be tested for feline leukemia, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper.
All the feral colonies we work with are fed and maintained on a daily basis.
WarmFuzzy’s objectives and goals are:
* Rescue and provide lifetime care for abandoned or abused dogs and cats, other animals as deemed appropriate by the board of WarmFuzzy’s;
* Maintain a fund for a spay/neuter assistance program;
* Maintain an active re-homing program for adoptable animals;
* Maintain a spay/neuter policy for all of WarmFuzzy’s animals, unless deemed a health risk by a veterinarian;
* Maintain an educational outreach program which may include, but not be limited to, newsletters, radio, television, and school programs;
* Emphasize the kinship of all life and rights of all animal species;
* Encourage foster care for animals in need;
* Humanely euthanize animals in cases of failed health, extreme pain, or when other health factors make it impossible for an animal to enjoy a reasonable quality of life; WarmFuzzy’s shall never euthanize animals to control the population of the sanctuary.

WarmFuzzy’s operates on a shoe string and we make many personal sacrifices in our efforts to save lives. We try to coordinate more direct adoptions but currently do very few as most of the animals we rescue are ferals, so adoption donations are few & far between. Almost all of the animals that come through our doors stay here at WarmFuzzy’s. We do receive donations & are grateful for the generosity of our supporters & the fact that these gifts often arrive at the times when we need help the most. Still it's not enough to cover the on-going costs of vetting, medications, food & related necessities.
