Who We Are
SpayMart is a local, all volunteer-based, nonprofit, humane organization started specifically to establish high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and adoption programs with the mission of solving the pet overpopulation crisis in the city. SpayMart partners with area shelters & local humane groups to deliver proactive, results-oriented programs to help our shelters achieve the collective goal of zero-euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals. Utilizing existing veterinary clinics, SpayMart has been operating feral cat programs for over five years to help control reproduction in feral cat colonies. The feral cat program has been funded entirely by donations and supplemented by proceeds from the adoption of kittens. SpayMart does not operate a shelter facility, but does have a foster care program where animals are cared for while they await adoption.
Adopting a friend
All animals up for adoption have been sterilized, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV (unless otherwise noted), and are microchipped. The adoption process involves a pre-adoption interview & questionnaire, a contract, and an $85 adoption fee to cover SpayMart's medical expenses.
Cats & kittens are also available for adoption at PETsMART on Clearview Parkway.
