A Better Life - Pet Rescue Inc. helps to promote the adoption of rescued animals through out Central Florida.
We believe that every animal deserves a second chance through rehabilitation, not euthanization. Our mission is to save the lives of unwanted companion animals by providing them with medical and hands on care until they are ready for placement in their forever homes. We are committed to raising community awareness through education of responsible pet ownership and improving animal welfare. In doing so, we know we can make a difference.
Adopting a friend
Check out our animals up for adoption on our Adopt Us page. Please contact us if you would like to meet one of our animals.
If we think you would be a good match for one of our pups, we proceed with a home visit and have interested parties review our adoption guidelines. An adoption contract must be signed before adopting an animal from our rescue. An adoption fee of $100 is collected to help defray the cost of vet visits, shots, neutering/spaying, food and supplies. Prior to being placed in a new home, each of our animals will be up to date on all shots, on flea preventative, heartworm preventive and are neutered or spayed.

Foster Program and Donations
Foster Program:
We are currently looking for foster homes for our wonderful dogs. A foster home can give a rescued dog the love, attention, affection and socialization he/she needs before they are placed in their forever home. We will provide food, any medication needed and a crate, if necessary. You provide the hugs, walks and good times!
Donations:
We're a non profit, no kill animal rescue. We rescue many animals in need of medical attention. Prior to being placed in a new home, each of our animals will be up to date on all shots, on flea preventative, heartworm preventive and are neutered or spayed. We pay for all expenses out of pocket and through the goodness of people like you reading our information.
We are in the process of becoming a non-profit organization. We will gladly take donations in the form of check, cash, dog food, crates, collars, leashes, treats and any dog toys. Please contact us if you would like to join our foster program.
