Our Mission
Furry Animals Being Saved Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue based in Tolland, CT. FABS Rescue was founded by a dedicated woman with a life-long passion for rescue who is committed to the mission of saving the lives of homeless companion animals. After getting knocked down several times in the rescue community, she decided to create her own rescue so she could continue her mission to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats. FASB Rescue is a non-breed specific rescue with expertise on Chow Chows, a very misunderstood breed.
FABS Rescue is a 100% foster-based rescue and is run entirely by compassionate individuals who volunteer their time, energy and resources to help save and care for the precious animals who come into the rescue. We rely on the generosity of volunteers and donors to provide medical care, training, and daily care to dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. We are committed to helping one homeless shelter animal at a time with the goal of finding them loving, life-long adoptive homes.
