Who We Are
Solano County Friends of Animals is a no-kill, animal rescue organization serving the community since 1987. We are strictly a volunteer organization with no salaried employees. The group consists of animal loving people who provide care for homeless animals until they can be adopted into a permanent home. We do not have a shelter and all of our animals are fostered in the homes of volunteers and their families until they find their forever home.
The goal of the group is to eliminate homelessness and death in the pet population caused by overpopulation. We work towards this goal by educating the community about spaying and neutering and helping people find low cost options. We also work with the public to help TNR feral cats in the community. We have information on several low cost spay/neuter options. Adopting a Friend
All Dressed Up and Need a Place To Go
We have many Black / White and Black & White Tuxedo cats that are all dressed up and ready to go! They will be at the adoption sites waiting for you. Don't worry, you can dress casual!!
From now until October 14th we are reducing our adoption fees so that these cats and kittens can have a home of their own. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed and flea treated and tested negative for FELV/FIV/.

Adoption Fees:
Cats over 1 year: $50
Kittens: $75
Special: $25
Adult dogs: $125.00
Puppies up to 1 year - $150.00
All animals are spayed/neutered. Cats and Kittens are tested for FeLV, receive a preventative treatment for fleas and have at least their initial FVRVP (Distemper) vaccination. All adoptions include a complimentary vet check certificate and a certificate for 20% off your first purchase at Pet Food Express or a coupon book for Petco.
Volunteering and Donations
We are always looking for volunteers and foster families. The animals need any amount of time or resources you have to offer. Please visit any of our adoption sites or call us at 707-552-3323 to find out more about volunteering.
SCFOA is a registered non profit organiztion and all donations are tax-deductible and go directly to care for the animals. You can make checks payable to SCFOA and mail them to:
