Kittens and adorable small dogs are here!
The Alameda Animal Shelter is having a TWO FURS Special. Get any two animals for one adoption fee...the higher fee would apply, and the spay/neuter fee if adopting dogs and cats would still be charged for both animals. The Two Furs applies to dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs and other shelter animals.
We have lots of wonderful dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits waiting to go home to new families. If you have the heart and space to take care of an animal, please come and visit the animal shelter. The shelter has reached maximum capacity of cats. We have over 25 cats waiting for new homes and families.
We have many lovable dogs at the shelter right now - come on over and take one for a walk! The shelter is full of small dogs that would make a great addition to apartment living or a household with children. The shelter also has several adult cats who are absolutely wonderful to adopt. Morgan, our beautiful and playful Brown Tabby Cat loves to entertain people. Currently, she is a plus sized female at 22 pounds (she has lost a few pounds since her arrival) and will melt your heart once you meet her. Morgan needs a new home ASAP since she has been at the shelter since January! We also have cats in different sizes, age ranges, fur types and breeds. They are adorable! Please check them out!

Who We Are
We are a small but busy shelter located in Alameda, California which is an island located in the San Francisco Bay. We are about a fifteen minute drive from SF and a five minute drive from Oakland. We always have quite a few highly adorable, highly adoptable animals on hand(including dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, bunnies, and more!!!) We are the perfect place to look when thinking of adding someone special to your family!
