Muttville, voted 2010's Best Rescue Group by the Bay Area's publication of Bay Woof, is a San Francisco Bay Area organization that rescues senior dogs. Many older dogs languish in shelters across the state, and Muttville finds these wonderful seniors, cleans them up (so many have suffered years of neglect), and finds them adopted homes. If you're looking for a dog, consider a senior: mellow, housetrained, personality clearly established. Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.
