Meet Eileen Cerebral Hypoplasia
Eileen has Cerebral Hypoplasia, a disorder that causes extremely uncoordinated movement. As a result, she has great difficulty walking and falls frequently. Despite this, she still goes to the trouble of meeting her foster dad at the door when he comes home.
Eileen loves to be brushed and enjoys being pet and held. She's generally fearful of other animals and would do best as on only pet or with a very docile companion. She craves human attention and would thrive in a home where someone would be with her most of the time. Due to her condition, she is unable to negotiate steps, so she'll need single-level living and she must never be allowed outside, as she could not flee from dangers.
Eileen was born with Cerebral Hypoplasia, so she doesn't know anything different and is a happy, well adjusted kitty. She even tries to play. She uses her litterbox, although she does sometimes make a bit of a mess, so we recommend keeping it on an easy to clean/sweep floor.
Eileen is approximately 7 years old and is in good health. She's spayed, vaccinated, Fel/Felv negative, and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is by donation, as the most important consideration is finding her a safe and loving forever home.
We travel between PA and FL and could meet potential adopters along the route.
