[Samantha] A lot of times dogs can be very play driven and they're very fixated on chasing a toy and they forget to drink water so it's very important that you're always offering them cold water. You can also invest in a lot of different sprinkler toys misters as well these are all things that your dog will be loving you for the entire summer because they're a lot of fun to play in and they're really cost effective as well. [Samantha] A lot of times dogs and cats as well like to go out into the sun and sunbathe and lay out on their backs and although it's a lot of fun and it's really cute it's very important that you're putting sunscreen on their belly area especially in the lower belly area because that's where they can get very sunburned. Also be sure that you put some sunscreen on their nose just to ensure that they're not going to be getting any sunburn there as well.
