Meet Winston and Wallace

Winston and Wallace are huge, well-socialized, two-year-old male Abyssinian guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian.

These boys love to eat: hay, greens, and pellets. Guinea pigs eat a diet of unlimited Timothy, orchard and botanical hays, limited pellets (1/4 cup is all they need each day), and a variety of fresh vegetables every day including kale, red leaf and green leaf lettuces, cilantro, carrots with tops, and bell peppers. Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/

These boys were left behind when their family moved out of their apartment. Luckily, their landlord loves animals and brought these handsome boys to the safety of Friends of Petraits Rescue.

Winston and Wallace’s adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. If you need a complete set up including a large cage, water bottle, hidey hut, pellets and hay, the whole package is available for an additional $50. To meet and possibly adopt these adorable guinea pigs, please fill out an application https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

Winston and Wallace are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
