Turnip & Amos Rat Rat Mix Bellingham, WA

Hi, we are Turnip & Amos! Here is what would work best for us in our new home:
-Personality: Mellow, Curious, Tolerant of Handling.
-Can live with kids: No, we are particular about our handling and need an adult only home.
-Experienced rat home: Rat experience is required.
-Can live with other rats: Yes! I am required to go home with my BFF, Amos. Rats are typically highly social, although all the rats we have been introduced to have only led to conflict, so we would prefer to be the only rats in the home.
-Litter box trained: No, but rats can be trained to use litter pans.
-Bite History: No, but they do nibble hard and therefore would not be a good match for a household with kids.
-Additional information: Turnip & Amos are the cutest pair of adult male rats who will only grow more social with consistent handling and familiarity with a person. They will need a nice roomy (minimum 2 cubic feet of space per rat) cage (NOT a tank) with multiple levels. Their diet should consist of high quality pellet food (like Oxbow essentials) and a small amount of species appropriate fruit/veggies daily. Fun fact: Their super cute, overly large ears are called "Dumbo" ears, like the Disney elephant.
