This animal’s daily routine:
Tango starts her day around 5:35am when she gets her pellet refill, then about an hour later she gets her morning veggies and some fresh hay. On the weekends she gets play time around lunch time but if it’s the weekdays she gets play time after dinner. She gets a vitamin c treat as a lunch time snack and then she finishes her day with some more veggies and usually a bedtime treat!
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?):
No, but needs a friend in the adoptive home.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction:
Tango has seen neighbor Guinea pigs and rabbits and has had no reaction, she’s also heard dogs whining or barking and doesn’t have a reaction.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction?
No
Health concerns:
None
Behavioral concerns:
None
Other notes:
Tango is a very friendly Guinea pig if you walk into the room she is standing on her back feet with her front feet on the bars waiting for head scratches or ear scratches but she’d prefer if you keep your scratches on her head since she’s not a fan of body pets. She’s learning to like being carried but she’s still a little unsure. She’d love to just hang out with you while you watch TV or read.
Tango came to MNPPR as a transfer from animal control after she was found outside with several other guinea pigs.
