Hi, my name is Taki! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Easy to handle, curious
-Can live with kids: Yes
-Experienced hamster home: Taki is a well socialized hamster and would be a great beginner pet.
-Can live with other hamsters?: No - Hamsters should be housed separately.
-Bite History: None

Additional information: Taki is a curious, friendly little guy who will likes to come out of his den when he hears his food dish fill up. He would love a family that can take him out of his cage daily for exercise and love! He is easy to handle and will let you pet him and pick him up if you go very slowly. A roomy, clean cage with lots of fun toys, chews, and enrichment will keep this guy happy and healthy. For the enclosure, aim for a minimum of 24 inches by 12 inches, and at least 12 inches tall with several inches of bedding for burrowing. If kept in an aquarium style enclosure, a 40 gal minimum is ideal. However, bigger is always better!
