Meet Scout

Hi, my name is Scout! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: A bit skittish, curious, vocal
-Can Live With Kids: Yes, but an adult must be my primary caregiver
-Experienced Guinea Pig Home: Not required, but we strongly recommend doing some research if we will be your first guinea pigs
-Energy Level: Medium
-Can Live With Other Guinea Pigs: It is required that Scout go to a home with another Male guinea pig or get adopted with one. The introduction will need to be slow and supervised.
-Litterbox Trained: No
-Bite History: No
-Additional Information: Scout will need a nice roomy cage/enclosure with daily exercise and socialization. His diet should consist of unlimited grass hay, high quality guinea pig pellets, and fresh greens daily. He can also have the occasional treat (ie. guinea pig safe fruits). Guinea pigs are social creatures - the more time you spend with them, the better. These three will ideally go to a home with people who enjoy socializing them and plan to interact with them on a daily basis.
