United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. A5527996 Poppy is a cute-as-a-button 1 year old female brown and white Guinea Pig who was brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 14 as a stray, along with Tulip (A5527997). It's quite possible that they are siblings and they are currently being housed together at the Care Center. Weighing just 2 little pounds, Poppy is a perfect pet for any type of household, including apartment living. Guinea Pigs are happiest when paired with another Guinea Pig, as they speak the same language and share a special bond with each other. Best of all, Guineas will learn to bond with their special human(s), too! If you are looking for a small pet to nurture and love, come meet Poppy and Tulip.
