Meet Persephone
Persephone is a very, very special hammy who is looking for that very special kind of family.
Persephone was an emergency abuse rescue who came to us back in the summer of 2021. Due to some very traumatic experiences she is incredibly scared and distrustful of humans and cannot be handled. She was very, very close to being "gotten rid of" if not for the quick actions of a good samaritan who immediately contacted us. Within the hour we had her in our possession and have worked daily since then to show her no one will ever hurt her again.
If you are one of those very special adopters who has a big heart for animals who are least likely to ever find a family, the ones left damaged and scarred by human hands, then Persephone is waiting for you.
