Meet Pepperoni
Estimated birth date: 3/1/2017
Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Lazy, Chatty, Enjoys being held, Readily allows you to pick it up, Sweet
Favorite treats: Crazyyy for veggies! Parsley and bell peppers are my favorites. Snacking on Oxbow hay biscuits.
Favorite toys and activities: I enjoy exploring my foster's moms room during free time. I also really like running through tunnels. I usually snuggle up in my bed while my brother relaxes on my foster mom's lap. We both like chewing on hay sticks and toilet paper rolls the best.
Potty trained: We're working on it!
This animal daily routine: Me and my brother get to either free roam or spend time in our pen in the evening. We usually pig out on our veggies while our foster mom fixes up our cage. Sometimes we run around and explore for a while, and sometimes we'd rather just sit on our foster mom's lap. We usually need our hay refilled twice a day and our water refilled once a day. Our cage is also spot cleaned once or twice a day depending on how well we use our litter box.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): Yes! Pepperoni is bonded to Cheese!
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Met the large family dog and wasn't really bothered, sniffed him through the cage bars and walked away. Update: Pepperoni & Cheese are really interested in their foster's puppy. They wheek obnoxiously whenever he barks or comes down.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Lives with a 10 year old and doesn't mind. Has also met some of the kids in the neighborhood and happily let them pet them.

Other Notes: Pepperoni & Cheese get excited about everything! Anyone making noise or following their foster while cleaning. They love activity!
Pepperoni & Cheese made their way to MNPPR as a transfer from Animal Control.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Pepperoni’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Eagan PetSmart - 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.
We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.
