Meet Peninsula
Penninsula (known her to friends as Penny) is a super cute syrian hamter (also known as a teddy bear) with long fluffy fur!
She came to us with MANY other hamsters from a family who had several accidental litters in a row and couldn't care for all of them!
Penny is a bit on the shy side, but she likes to explore new places and tolerates handling for short periods as long as you don't wake her up from a nap!
Penny prefers everything in life to be extra comfortable so she takes pride in making sure her sleeping quarters are exactly to her specifications. She spends a lot of time every day assembling her napping nest into just the right size and shape!
