Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Lazy, Cuddly, Readily allows you to pick it up, Sweet
Favorite treats: Not really interested in treats
Favorite toys and activities: Exploring, clothe tunnels, & cuddling with her sister Tuna
Potty trained: We’re working on it!
This animal daily routine: AM & PM supplemental feedings of Duk Soup or Carnivore Care, mixed with an Omega 3 supplement with play time in-between.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): Yes! Pattie is bonded with her sister Tuna.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Other ferrets - other ferrets play too rough for their liking
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Pattie has not been exposed to children.
Health concerns: Pattie has adrenal disease which will require a yearly implant. She also has a history of rare yeast in the ears, severe alopecia which may reoccur & require treatment, an omega 3 deficiency which requires daily supplementation & low vision due to an eye condition related to old age.
Behavioral concerns: None
Other notes: Tuna & Pattie are very sweet old ladies, they have come so far since entering rescue you would never believe they were the same ferrets. They like lots of cozy spaces to curl up and prefer cube hammocks over all other styles.
Tuna & Pattie came to MNPPR as a transfer from SD to address their medical needs.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Pattie’s foster parent prefers to meet at either the PetSmart location in Rochester, MN - 3845 Marketplace Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901 & 4603 Maine Ave SE #109, Rochester, MN 55904 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Tuna & Pattie have a combined adoption fee of $131.25
Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.
We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.
