How this pet arrived: This little guy was brought in by their previous owner along with his siblings. Hamsters need to be kept inside and need a comfortable, spacious, dry and clean place to live. They are happiest in a quiet environment as they are easily spooked by loud and strange sounds. They are nocturnal which means they may not be out and about much during the day. They need a place to hide, called a nesting box, placed near their food and they need nesting material to build a nest in their box. Some hamsters get along well with other hamsters and others don't.
