Meet Oz

Hi, my name is Oz! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Shy, curious, active.
-Can live with kids: I would do best in a home with kids ages 10+. Adults must be my primary caregiver.
-Energy level: Medium
-Lifespan: 4 - 8 years
-Can live with other Guinea pigs: Yes! Guinea pigs are social animals by preference and do best in groups as long as they are adequately housed. I will need to be introduced to another guinea pig following proper protocol in order to be successful.
-Bite History: None
-Additional information: Oz was surrendered to WHS by a family that was not equipped to care for him. He will need patient and consistent handling to learn that people are safe and pleasant to interact with. With regular gentle handling and some yummy snacks, Oz will become familiar with and well-socialized to his adopters. He will need a nice roomy cage with daily exercise. His diet should consist of unlimited grass hay, high quality guinea pig pellets, and fresh greens daily.
