Personality: Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc), Chatty, Nervous

Favorite treats: She loves sticks and will nibble at other treats left in the cage

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Chinchilla Food, Western Timothy Hay

Favorite toys and activities: She loves taking dust baths, running on the wheel, cuddling with her stuffed chinchilla

Potty trained: Litter box trained

This animal’s daily routine: Morning and evening play time

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Mozzarella needs a buddy in her forever home.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction to: Cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, & birds, she will show interest in the animals but usually tries to spray them (through the cage)

Mozzarella came to MNPPR as a transfer when the shelter environment was too stressful.

Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 11200 Fountains Dr, Maple Grove, MN 55369 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
