Milo is an adorable 6 year old guinea pig, who came to the shelter because his family was moving and couldn't take him with. He is slightly on the shy side, but will happily sit with you while eating some veggies. He will need some time and plenty of treats to get comfortable with his new family.

Guinea pigs are social creatures and do best with companionship, so Milo would benefit having a friend, and could be a great addition to a home that already has only one male guinea pig who also needs a friend. Time and patience will be essential while introducing two adult male guinea pigs, sufficient research can make it go a lot easier though and take out any guess work. We recommend starting here:
