Meet Mariposa
Introducing Mariposa!
Mariposa came to us from an abuse case where she was not being properly cared for. Sadly her cage mate came in a critical state and despite our best efforts didn't make it. Mariposa is looking for a new best friend and a chance at a loving life. She deserves the a second chance and a home willing to provide her with all the needed love and care she deserves.
Mariposa is one of the loudest guinea pigs we have had in rescue to date, which is saying a lot after rescuing hundreds of guineas. She gets zoomies each day and she is really enjoying a proper sized cage and yummy food. Mariposa may never had veggies before coming into rescue so we have been slowly introducing veggies to her. So far she likes romaine lettuce, cucumbers and celery. She is NOT a fan of bell pepper (though we keep trying), nor does she like tomatoes.
We are a foster based rescue out of Olympia WA. We do not do out of state adoptions nor do we ship animals.
Her adoption fee is $25. She must go to a home with another female pig she can bond to and we will walk you through the bonding process to try and make it as successful as possible.
