Favorite treats: Yogies but also really likes dried carrot treats

Favorite toys and activities: Loves running in his wheel at night and also enjoys treat time. He now will take a treat, run away with it to his sleeping spot, and run back right away to grab another to squirrel away.

Potty trained: No

This animal daily routine: He has his own routine of starting his nightly wheel run at dusk.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): No, Linus prefers to live alone.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: He has sniffed cats and small dogs through his bin holes and is genuinely curious about them unless they move quickly.

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Linus has not been exposed to children.

Health concerns: None

Behavioral concerns: Linus is in our trust training program for mouthy behavior when approaching hands. Linus is offered high value treats from fingertips and is offered fingers to smell. Linus came to MNPPR when their previous owner was unable to provide care for an unexpected litter after they were weaned.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Linus’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Maple Grove PetSmart - 11200 Fountains Dr, Maple Grove, MN 55369 & Plymouth PetSmart - 4190 Vinewood Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55442 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Linus has an adoption fee of $5

Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.
