Meet Lacy & Mia
Lacy & Mia are sweet, gold agouti red & white American Guinea Pigs. They are bonded and like all bonded pair they must be adopted together! If you would like to meet Lacy & Mia, or any of the other adoptable piggies in the rescue, please email wheekcare2017@gmail.com
Guinea pigs are social animals, and should always have a friend of their own kind. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 5 to 7 years, and I've even had them live up till they were 9 and 10 1/2. Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs. They are also vegetarians. Among their favorite veggies are Romaine, Parsley, Green leaf/Red leaf lettuce, Endive, Collard Greens, Kale, Tomatoes, Carrots (in moderation) and Green/Red/Yellow or Orange peppers, just to name a few.
