Koi and Zurey Guinea Pig Short-Haired Brooklyn, NY

The friendly boys Koi and Zurey (previously named Turquoise and Azure) came to us after being surrendered by their former guardians to the city’s shelter. While we do not know much of their past life, we can see how much they love, and relay, on one another.

The inseparable duo is adjusting splendidly to their new foster home, and seem to love nothing more than to explore their new large play area, popcorning with joy, and sprinting around while making happy honking sounds. They are super sweet and friendly with people, coming forward to say hello, look around for treats, but also content to settle down in their foster mom’s lap for some grooming and bonding time.

Koi and Zurey are American, short-haired guinea pigs, around two years old, and in good health.
They would do well in a home with other small animals and are confident and outgoing enough to be around young children as well. Experienced adopters are preferred, but given the tolerant and composed nature of this wonderful cavy pair, new or moderate piggy guardians are also welcomed.
