Kiki & Kabob's Story

Kiki and Kabob are six year old degus who arrived at the shelter after changes in their home. We don't often get degus so we have been fascinated by these cute critters! Degus can live 5-9 years which makes these girls technically seniors but they are still fast!

Degus need a spacious enclosure to ensure they have lots of room to burrow, climb and have their own space. We recommend a Ferret Nation cage or if you are handy you can make your own. We'd love to see Kiki and Kabob in a home that has some experience with degu or similar animals.
