Estimated birth date: January 2022

Personality: Inquisitive, Lazy, Energetic, Clingy, Has some cages aggression, but once outside the cage, she loves running all over her human.

Favorite treats: Sunflower seeds, peas, cheerios, banana, apple

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food

Favorite toys and activities: She loves a comfy hide/bed. She also loves running around and exploring when out of the cage and will pea fish.

Potty trained: We're working on it!

This animal’s daily routine: Their foster tries to have a small playtime in the morning but their main playtime is in the evening. This usually includes foraging for snacks.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Tohru & Kagura are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None

Health concerns: Kagura is currently under vet supervision for a small mammary mass which is a common health ailment in female rats. She will be having this mass removed surgically in late August.

Behavioral concerns: Kagura has some cage-guarding behaviors that we are working on improving.

Other notes: Kagura is currently in half of a double critter nation cage and does not get along with the rats in the other half of the cage. She gets along with her sister, but may not get along with others.

Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart at 11200 Fountains Dr., Maple Grove MN for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Tohru and Kagura have a combined adoption fee of $25.
