Meet Hugo and Garcia
Hi, our names are Hugo and Garcia! Here's a little more about us:
-Personality: Shy, Curious, Active
-Can Live With Kids: Yes, but an adult must be my primary caregiver
-Experienced Guinea Pig Home: Not required, but we strongly recommend doing some research if this will be your first guinea pig.
-Energy Level: Medium
-Can Live With Other Guinea Pigs: Yes, I am currently being housed with my buddy, Hugo, and we would prefer to be adopted together, but any introduction to other Guinea pigs will need to be GRADUAL and structured to ensure we get along! Guinea pigs are social creatures and do best in pairs or groups.
-Litter Box Trained: No
-Bite History: No
Additional Information: Garcia and Hugo will need a nice roomy cage (minimum 30" by 36") with daily exercise and socialization. Their diet should consist of unlimited grass hay, high quality guinea pig pellets, and fresh greens daily. They can also have the occasional treat (ie. pieces of guinea pig-safe fruits and veggies). Much like rabbits, guinea pigs are sensitive critters and need to be housed in a temperature-controlled area (67-75 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal). They are also very social and will benefit from being housed in an area where they can be seen and heard. If you're interested in Garcia and/or Hugo, the first step toward adoption is to fill out an application and set up a meeting.
