Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Playful, Energetic
Favorite treats: Raspberries, pumpkin seeds, and whole peanuts
Favorite toys and activities: Cardboard art, building nests, and exploring at floor time
Potty trained: Not officially but they tend to use 1-2 areas so it’s easy to spot clean
This animal’s daily routine: Active in the morning and evening. Long sleep in the middle of the day. We refill water, food, and spot clean in the evenings which is very interesting to them.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Hedwig & Fang are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Active in the morning and evening. Long sleep in the middle of the day. We refill water, food and spot clean in the evenings which is very interesting to them.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes, same as reaction to adults
Health concerns: None
Behavioral concerns: Hedwig is in our trust training program, We continue to associate human hands with good food and playtime. They don’t bite or even mouth our hands but get startled very easily as they haven’t been handled much in their life
Other notes: While they don’t like being picked up they readily go into a transfer box to move for floor time or enclosure deep cleaning. At floor time they are very active and busy. They run over our hands/feet/legs. Love exploring magna tile mazes and other obstacle courses.
Hedwig & Fang came to MNPPR after being abandoned at a pet store who was unable to provide care.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Highland Park Chuck & Don's 2114 Ford Pkwy, St Paul, MN 55116 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: Hedwig & Fang have a combined adoption fee of $17
We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.
