Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Sweet, Vigilant
Favorite treats: Minnows
Favorite toys and activities: Garnet loves to nest and watch what is going on.
Potty trained: Litter box trained
This animal daily routine: Garnet doesn’t have a daily routine yet!
BFF: Garnet is bonded to her sisters - Pearl and Amethyst!
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cat, rabbits--curious or indifferent
Health concerns: All three of the rats in this trio have undergone and recovered from tumor removal surgeries and should be monitored closely for recurrence. For this reason, we are adopting them out under our new hospice adoption fee.
Behavioral concerns: None
Other notes: Garnet will drop everything to say hello. Napping? She's up as soon as she hears you coming. Eating? It can wait. She loves to watch what people are doing and hopes whatever it is leads to a visit with her and some treats.
Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Garnet’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Burnsville PetSmart -14290 Plymouth Ave, Burnsville, MN 55337 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
